The design features a unique 2" baffle and 2" gusset around the perimeter of the comforter. The tightly woven ticking is sewn into larger 15" boxes for increased volume. Each box is lavishly filled with the highest number of ounces of down for the ultimate loft, warmth and comfort.
Just as with nicer apparel, we design our duvets with a generous cut for a proper fit, which drapes gracefully over the sides of the bed. The double sewing and piping around the perimeter and tightly woven fabric, insures a leak-proof duvet that will provide enjoyment for at least two decades. This is a family heirloom.
The shell is constructed from a light, luxurious Lyocell, woven into a champagne colored damask Lyocell is a high-performance sustainable cellulose fiber derived from beech trees. It has a lower carbon footprint than cotton. Environmentally friendly, it is also 50% more absorbent to moisture for enhanced respiration, breathability; and is resistant to bacteria growth.
Our Siberian Goose Down is from mature geese.
Mature geese, produce the largest, most resilient clusters. This down represents the upper tier of quality and the lowest feather ratio (less than 0.3% by weight.)
